Good morning, Expect a massive construction season across the region as PennDOT announces a two-hundred-twelve million dollar investment package. The funding covers eighty separate projects across District Two, including major highway restoration on Route Two-Nineteen between DuBois Street and Liberty Boulevard. Drivers can also expect continuous work zone delays along Interstate Eighty in Clearfield County as crews preserve twenty-four miles of roadway and six bridges.Meanwhile, a mobile healthcare push is bringing vital services to rural senior citizens. The Penn State Lion Mobile Clinic just completed its initial rollout at the Bennetts Valley Senior Center in Weedville, providing free wellness exams and prescription blood pressure monitors to local seniors. Organizers say the program will return this fall to fill the healthcare gap left by recent medical office and bank closures in the community.And Clearfield County is getting an early start on America’s upcoming two-hundred-fiftieth birthday bash. A newly formed team of county ambassadors met in Clearfield to finalize plans for a year-long celebration.
